Anders Wall’s Scholarship for Studies at Uppsala University

Benefits & funding

• Covers the full tuition fee for an eligible international Bachelor’s or Master’s programme.
• Does not cover living expenses; recipients must secure the living-cost funding required for study in Sweden.
• The separate Uppsala University scholarship application has no application fee.

Eligibility

• Be a citizen of an African country and liable to pay tuition fees.
• Apply on time to an eligible international Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at Uppsala University and rank it as first priority.
• Meet all general and programme-specific entry requirements, and ensure the admission application fee and complete supporting documents arrive by the relevant deadline.
• Demonstrate academic talent and an interest in being part of an educational environment.
• Students admitted to the Joint Nordic Master’s Programme in Environmental Law, Biology NABiS, Evolutionary Biology – MEME, Implementation, Transformative Learning and Sustainability, Religion in Peace and Conflict, Transformative Game Design, or Turkic Studies are not eligible.

Application process

   Apply through University Admissions for an eligible Uppsala University international Bachelor’s or Master’s programme and rank it first.

   Save the eight-digit personal application number issued after submitting the programme application.

   During the scholarship window, complete Uppsala University’s online scholarship form with personal details, selected scholarship programme and the application number.

   Write a motivation letter of no more than 350 words that addresses the scholarship’s eligibility criteria, then submit the complete form before the deadline.
