This 2026 on-campus project is part of Özyeğin University’s first Undergraduate Research Summer Program. One or two interns will contribute to AI-native wireless communication research under Asst. Prof. Dr. Çağatay Edemen in Istanbul.

The work applies machine learning and data-driven methods to channel modeling, signal processing, resource allocation, and adaptive strategies for 5G-Advanced and 6G systems. Interns assist with algorithms, data preparation, model training, evaluation, simulations, and performance analysis.

Benefits & funding

  • The university provides laboratory access, technical training, and academic guidance.
  • Participants receive accommodation and lunch during the summer term.
  • The project provides 4–8 weeks of hands-on work in machine learning for physical-layer wireless problems.

Eligibility
