The Qatar Olympic Academy delivers this advanced diploma in cooperation with Olympic Solidarity, the International Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Academy. The 2026 edition is an in-person program at the Academy in Doha.
Its seven modules cover organizational structures, strategy, human resources, finance, marketing, major sports events and final presentations. Participants complete module assessments and a graduation project.
Benefits & funding
- Graduates who meet the completion requirements receive a diploma issued by the International Olympic Committee.
- Participants also receive a completion certificate for each module.
- The program is self-funded and costs QAR 10,950, stated by the Academy as approximately USD 3,000.
Eligibility
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field, or hold both first- and second-level IOC-accredited sports management certificates earned through Academy programs.
- The Academy publishes no nationality or residency restriction; the current cohort includes participants from Qatar and abroad.
- The full fee must be paid to confirm registration and reserve a place.
