Official Page

This Özyeğin University project places two undergraduate interns with Asst. Prof. Mesut Sayın from 29 June to 1 September 2026. Work may be completed on campus or online and focuses on a blockchain-enabled platform for robust green vehicle routing under uncertain logistics conditions.

Interns will develop Solidity contracts, connect them to Python through Web3 tooling, design on-chain and off-chain data flows, test for common security weaknesses, and document a reproducible prototype. The wider summer program accepts undergraduate students from universities in Turkey and abroad, with selection carried out by the relevant faculty member.

Benefits & funding

  • The university provides laboratory access, technical training, academic guidance, accommodation, and lunch during the summer term.
  • The project offers hands-on experience building, testing, deploying, and integrating an Ethereum prototype with an optimization workflow.
  • The official materials do not state a cash stipend or salary.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program; students at Özyeğin University and at universities in Turkey or abroad may apply.
  • Required capabilities are Python programming, basic Ethereum knowledge, Solidity development or strong evidence of rapid learning, Web3 integration patterns, Git, code organization, and clear technical documentation.
  • Experience with Ethereum development tools, local chains, automated testing, content-addressed storage, basic cryptography, logistics or optimization, and smart-contract security is preferred but not required.
  • No nationality, residency, age, gender, or work-experience restriction is stated.
