#100ragazzeSTEAM is Sapienza University of Rome’s annual initiative to reduce the gender gap in higher education across science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. The 2025/26 cycle supported first-year students in listed three-year bachelor’s courses.
Applicants had to live outside the municipality hosting their course and meet academic, income and enrollment conditions. The cycle is closed; the final ranking was published on April 28, 2026.
Benefits & funding
- 100 one-time scholarships were offered.
- Each scholarship was worth €3,000 gross, including IRPEF and IRAP.

Eligibility
- Applicants had to be women enrolled or newly enrolled in the first year of an eligible three-year STEAM bachelor’s degree at Sapienza for 2025/26.
- They needed an Italian secondary-school diploma grade of at least 90/100.
- Residence had to be outside Rome, or outside the municipality hosting a decentralized course.
- University ISEEU or equivalent ISEE had to be no more than €45,824.71.
- Applicants could not hold another scholarship for 2025/26; the award was incompatible with LazioDiSCo scholarships.
- Enrollment charges, any fixed enrollment fee and the applicable stamp duty had to be paid by the deadline.
- No nationality restriction, work-experience requirement or age limit was stated.
- Eligible degrees covered architecture and design, computing, engineering, mathematical and natural sciences, health-related biotechnology and pharmacy, environmental subjects, management, statistics and finance; delivery included in-person, mixed and predominantly distance courses in Rome, Latina and Rieti.
