Sapienza University of Rome offers 100 scholarships to enrolled students who have care responsibilities or fall within specified vulnerable categories. The 2025/26 call supports eligible bachelor’s, master’s, and single-cycle students with a one-time payment.
Applicants are ranked through documented priority conditions, with certified disability or specific learning disorder, financial need, and younger age used as tie-breakers in that order. The 2025/26 cycle closed on May 29, 2026, and the final ranking was published on July 3, 2026.
Benefits & funding
- 100 scholarships are available, each worth €1,000 gross before IRPEF and IRAP deductions.
- The award cannot be combined with another public benefit serving the same purpose, including a LazioDiSCo scholarship.
- It remains compatible with measures outside university study-right support and with eligible tuition-fee exemptions.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be regularly enrolled at Sapienza in 2025/26, through the first year beyond the standard course duration, in a bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle degree and must have paid required enrolment charges by the deadline.
- Applicants need a 2025/26 university-study ISEEU no higher than €45,824.71 in Infostud; international students without ISEEU must attach a valid equivalent ISEE.
- Applicants must document at least one route: parent of a child under six; family caregiver; young caregiver aged 18–28 living with a person certified as severely disabled; care leaver; survivor of gender-based violence who has begun a documented exit pathway; or direct victim or first-degree surviving relative of a victim of terrorism or organised crime.
- Only one parent per household and one caregiver per assisted person can receive the benefit under the corresponding route.
- There is no nationality restriction; the call explicitly provides an equivalent-ISEE route for international students.
